coded information (CI)
In document management, Coded Information( CI) refers to documents that have been coded with a specific code.
In contrast to Coded Information, documents with Non-Coded Information( NCI) have no recognizable coding structure. They are printed documents that have been rescanned.
CI documents were created in specific character sets and can be converted to other character sets. They can be text documents, tables, graphics or photos. CI documents can be processed automatically and archived without any problems.
