code conversion (CC)

Code Conversion(CC) is the conversion of a code, which represents each character with a certain number of bits, into another code, which works with the same or a different character representation. Thus, the bit groups of a character set from one code are converted to the bit groups of another code. For example, a 6-bit code can be converted into an 8-bit code during code conversion.
