Clicks-and-Mortar is a derivative of the term Bricks-and-Mortar, which is used on the web
for a classic, conventional, i.e. non-virtual, store. While Bricks-and-Motar operate without online activities and, for example, with catalogues and telephone ordering systems, Clicks-and-Mortar is a business concept that uses e-business
inaddition to conventional sales. It is a sales concept using multiple sales channels: Store sales, phone sales, e-business. In
terms of the real world, Amazon, for example, represents clicks-and-mortar. There are, of course, various alternative business models that use both sales strategies and work with both a chain of stores and online advertising, or in which only online orders are possible.
