It is a sales concept using multiple sales channels: In-store sales, telephone sales, e-business.

In terms of the real world, Amazon, for example, stands for clicks-and-mortar. There are, of course, diverse, alternative business models that use both sales strategies and work with both a chain of stores and online advertising, or in which only online orders are possible.
