The chromaticity is formed by the hue and the saturation. In the color wheel, the chromaticity corresponds to the color vector with its angle and vector length. The angle of the color vector represents the hue, the vector length represents the color saturation.
A longer color vector corresponds to a higher saturation level. The luminance or brightness has no influence on the chromaticity.
