charge point operator (electric vehicle) (CPO)

Charge Point Operators(CPO) are operating companies of own charging stations for electric vehicles. They provide charging service and maintenance of the charging infrastructure and charging stations. A charge point operator can also provide services for an e-Mobility Service Provider (eMSP) at the same time.

During the charging process, the consumer must authenticate himself. Finally, payment for the charging process is made via a Mobile Service Provider( MSP).
