change control

Change control is used to manage changes made to products or systems. Change control, which is part of change management, ensures that all changes made are documented, that services are not unnecessarily disrupted, and that resources are used efficiently.

Change control is carried out in individual steps, starting from the change requirements. Most often, it is a matter of adding more functions to a program, creating updates to programs, or connecting more components to a system.

The procedure for a change request for a software includes as a first step the documentation of the change request. This is followed by the formal assessment, which includes the reason for the change request and provides information about the risks and benefits. The next step is the detailed planning with the planning design and implementation of the plan. After the design and testing comes the implementation and review of the changes. And the final step is the final evaluation.
