cellular data link control (CDLC)

Cellular Data Link Control (CDLC) is a fault-tolerant communication protocol used in cellular networks. This protocol allows users to connect data terminals to their mobile devices

and receive and send data through it. The CDLC protocol is also used in radio modems.

It has error correction to compensate for the high error rate on radio links.
