carrier to interference ratio (C/I)

The ratio of carrier signal to interference signal (C/I) is the distance of the wanted signal to the self-interference. Self-interference is caused by reflections from buildings and mountains and, in DC networks, also by interference from other carrier signals. The transmitter spacing plays a significant role here.
