Business Service Management (BSM) is a management concept that addresses the needs of corporate customers so that they can realize their targets in terms of the services

offered. In communications technology and information technology, such services could be service level agreements (SLA), risk analyses or security services. The aim is to manage and control the quality and quantity of agreed IT services that are part of a business process or that directly support the business.
