broadcast and unknown server (ATM) (BUS)

Specification defined by the ATM Forum for the support of LAN-LAN couplings, the LAN emulation. The BUS specifications supported the functions implemented in ATM for LAN-LAN connections, as well as broadcast in LANs.

The Broadcast And Unknown Server (BUS) supports data sent from a LE client (LAN emulation) as a broadcast via the MAC address (FFFFFFFFFF).
