bounding box

The term bounding box is used by printers to limit the content of a page when printing a Postscript file or an Encapsulated Postscript File( EPS).

The bounding box is a bounding box in which the actual page content is printed. The size and position of the bounding box is described by its corner points and any scaling. These specifications are used to integrate text or graphics into existing documents, such as in desktop publishing( DTP).
