bit count integrity (BCI)

Bit Count Integrity (BCI) is concerned with the correctness and completeness of the number of bits transmitted. Bit-count correctness is used in message transmission and is used to determine whether the number of bits received corresponds to those of the original message. In connection-oriented services, it is concerned with the correctness of the number of bits in a given time.
