The Bioelectromagnetics Society (BEMS) is a non-profit organization whose members - biologists, physicists and engineers - are concerned with the influence of non-ionizing radiation ( NIR) on biological systems. The society was founded in the 1970s and has several hundred members worldwide. Its headquarters are in the USA.
