Back Face Culling means the removal of back faces. It is a technique used in 3D graphics
that eliminates parts of the image that are not visible.polygons
that are notvisible from the viewer are not rendered and displayed. This saves computing power, reduces the number of polygons and the data volume, and increases performance
and rendering speed. In addition to the back face culling technique, there are other culling techniques: view frustum culling, in which only objects that lie within the viewing cone are calculated, detail culling, and occlusion culling, in which hidden objects are not included in the graphical calculation.
