baby AT (motherboard) (BAT)

Baby-AT (BAT) is a form factor for motherboards. The BAT motherboard is smaller than the AT motherboard at 330 mm x 216 mm, it also has fewer slots and headers on the motherboard.

Baby AT computers were more compact in design than AT computers, they had fewer slots for floppy and hard disk drives, the motherboards were populated with 80x86 central processing units and could also accommodate the first Pentiums.

The baby AT format was the dominant form factor for personal computers(PCs) for years before being replaced by the ATX form factor.
