average bouncing busy hour (ABBH)

When planning and assessing telephone networks, the Average Bouncing Busy Hour (ABBH) is used to determine traffic in the various trunks.

The ABBH value is the averaged traffic load of a telephone network with line switching during the peak load. The ABBH value refers to a period of one day or one week and is given as an average value for this period.
