automatic route selection (ARS)

Automatic Route Selection (ARS) is used for optimal route determination by a switch, typically by a Tk system, and is also referred to as least-cost routing ( LCR). However, in automatic route selection, other algorithms such as shortest path or shortest route can be determined in addition to least cost.
