artificial general intelligence (AGI)

Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is an intelligent approach through which machines can solve intellectual tasks comparable to cognitive human reasoning. The AGI Society defines Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) as a field that targets thinking machines, machines and systems that replicate the human way of thinking.

In Wikipedia, Artificial General Intelligence is defined as the intelligence of a machine that could successfully perform any intellectual task that a human can perform. In theory, Artificial General Intelligence can solve tasks that are also solved by humans. The AGI approach, which is based on Artificial Intelligence( AI), is also known as Strong Artificial Intelligence. This is in contrast to the classical Artificial Intelligence, which is called Weak Artificial Intelligence and is suitable for specific tasks. Classical Weak Artificial Intelligence has no cognitive capabilities at all.

The characteristics of General Artificial Intelligence include knowledge-based presentations, communication in natural languages, use of strategies, evaluation of irregularities, and sensing and acting. AGI systems can detect and respond to threats, support cognitive research, math-oriented intelligence, and decision-making.

The problem with converting the human brain into an artificial intelligence is that humans are still researching how the brain works and, secondly, that it makes no sense to build a computer architecture that can implement human thoughts. That would make little sense and would be uneconomical. In addition, human capabilities are constantly evolving.
