advanced encryption standard counter mode & CBC-MAC (AES-CCM)

CCMP (Counter Mode with CBC- MAC Protocol) is an authenticated encryption method that has been proposed as a standard for encryption ofWLANs according to IEEE 802.11i.

The Internet Engineering Task Force( IETF) is working on the CCMP method for use in the IPSec protocol.

Advanced Encryption Standard Counter Mode( AES- CCM) is an encryption method that uses a 16-byteblock cipher. AES encry ption uses a 128-bit key and generates different key texts from the same plaintexts. The method depends on the system data rate and the interface requirements. It is suitable for data rates up to 200 Mbit/s. The AES-CCM procedure provides all the necessary requirements for initializing and obtaining the key block chain (CBC) and checks the information content at the end of the message.
