address complete message (ACM)

The Address Complete Message

(ACM) is a control message indicating that the address information has been completely transmitted. The ACM message is a reverse message sent from the receiver

back tothe sender. In ISDN, the ACM message is a Central Channel Sign aling (CSS) signaling message for establishing a connection to

the user channel. It indicates that the subscriber

is free and has answered the call. The Address Complete Message is described by the ITU-T in Q.763.
