adaptive load balancing (ALB)

Adaptive Load Balancing (ALB) is a port bundling technique developed by Intel, comparable to Fast Ethernet Channel (FEC) from Cisco.

The ALB technique is also known as asymmetric port bundling and can achieve a data throughput of 400 Mbps. The ALB method complies with the 802.3standard and supports multiple redundantconnections between server and network.
