adaptive load balancing (ALB)

Adaptive Load Balancing (ALB) is a port bundling technique developed by Intel, comparable to Fast Ethernet Channel( FEC) from Cisco.

ALB technology is also known as asymmetric port bundling and can achieve a data throughput of 400 Mbps. The ALB method complies with the 802.3 standard and supports multiple redundant connections between server and network.
