adaptive frequency agility (transmitter) (AFA)

Adaptive Frequency Agility (AFA) is a transmission technique used in radio systems such as Short Range Devices( SRD) in combination with Listen Before Talking( LBT).

Frequency agility is used when a transceiver cannot transmit a signal because the transmit frequency is permanently blocked. Thanks to adaptive frequency agility, the transceiver can switch to another, a free transmission frequency and transmit the signal over it.
