The ad click rate is a measure of the efficiency of online advertising, indicating the percentage of users who have seen the online advertisement who click on it. The ad click rate is therefore the ratio of advertising clicks to the number of ad impressions

. For example, if a banner that 2,000 users have seen is clicked 100 times, then the advertising click rate is 5%.
