active paging radio terminal (BOS) (APRT)

An Active Paging Radio Terminal (APRT) is a digital paging receiver for Tetra networks. The APRT receiver receives call-out messages with automatic acknowledgement. Using the automatic or manual reconfirmation, the dispatcher can determine the number of emergency personnel and transmit short-term messages to the emergency personnel using templates.
