acquisition rate

The acquisition rate - in German: Akquisitionsrate oder Kundengewinnungsrate - is a performance indicator in online customer acquisition.

The acquisition rate refers to the percentage of visitors to a website who have, for example, purchased a product on the website or registered or otherwise shown interest in the product. The ratio is also frequently used as a key figure for billing online services by marketing companies that are supposed to acquire customers on behalf of a company.
