The Accounting Legend Code (ALC) is a numeric code for accounting work.

The ALC code is about accounting controls for the material used for Accountable Communications Security( COMSEC). The Accounting Legend Code (ALC) is used in the COMSEC material control system. To facilitate control, COMSEC items are assigned their own numbers, Accounting Numbers.
