An XDIMM has a total of 232 pins on two rows of contacts and is plugged into the slots provided for it on the motherboard. The XDIMM modules work with a clock frequency of 3.2 GHz. This means a memory band width of 12.8 GB/s with a bus width of 32 bits. In dual channel mode with 2 x 32 bits, this results in a bandwidth of 25.6 GB/s.
