V.35

The V.35 interface is specified for higher transmission speeds and analog broadband modems. It operates at a data rate of 48 kbit/s over so-called primary group lines in the range from 60 kHz to 108 kHz and uses a mixture of unbalanced V.24/ V.28 signals and balanced V.35 signals. The distance is therefore also limited to 15 m. A 34- pin connector is used, but its mechanical properties are country-specific.
