(USB-AV) is a specification developed by the USB
Implementers Forum (USB-IF) that allows video from a mobile phoneto be played on a TV.The USB-AV specification defines how audio and video devices communicate with each other over the USB interface. The specification deals with the settings for audio facilities for stereo or surround sound
and for video playback. USB-AV version 3.0 supports a data rate of 4 Gbit/s and can thus display HDTV in 1,080p. Version 3.1 has a data rate of 9.8 Gbit/s and is suitable for Quad-Full-HD, the 4K standard of High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) and 4K D-Cinema.
