Telecommunications Traffic Monitoring Ordinance

The Telecommunications Traffic Surveillance Ordinance (FÜV) regulates the requirements and procedures for the technical implementation of surveillance measures in telecommunications equipment intended for public wide- area networks.

The Telecommunications Traffic Surveillance Ordinance was issued by the Federal Government in 1995 and defines the technical details for intercepting telecommunications systems and equipment. It was replaced in 2002 by the Telecommunications Surveillance Ordinance( TKÜV).
