Schottky TTL (IC) (S-TTL)

Schottky TTL logic (S-TTL) is characterized by a switching time that is only a few nanoseconds short. With switching frequencies of 130 MHz and the low power dissipation of only 20 mW per TTL logic, it is superior to H-TTL.

Like other logics, S-TTL logics require a supply voltage of 5 V, the maximum permissible low level is 0.4 V, and the minimum required HI level is 2.4 V. These operating voltages correspond to those of the other TTL logics.

Schottky TTLs are available for high switching frequencies as Advanced Schott ky TTL( AS-TTL) or also with low power dissipation as Low Power Schottky TTL( LS-TTL) and in the version Advanced Low Power Schott ky TTL( ALS-TTL), whose power dissipation is approx. 1 mW per TTL logic.
