RJ11 connector (RJ11)
The RJ11 connector system is a miniature connector system (12.32 mm x 6.65 mm) in 6-pole design. This modular connector is used for telephone connections for a telephone and has the marking 6P2C from the assignment.
6P2C means that the rJ11 connector has six contacts, two of which are occupied. If four contacts are occupied, then the designation is 6P4C.
The RJ11 plug has a width of 9.65 mm, the length is 12.32 mm.
The RJ11 modular connector is similar in structure to the RJ45 connector, but has even smaller dimensions than the latter. The RJ11 system is used in the telephone sector, in private branch exchanges and in the IBM cabling systemIVS, namely in workplace cabling, i.e. in the ring line distributor and in the connection cable( lobe cable). The high frequency behavior is sufficient for token ring applications.
