PNNI topology state packet (ATM) (PTSP)

The PTSP packets(PNNI Topology State Packets) are used for the Private Network to Network Interface (PNNI) in ATM and transport the PNNI Topology State Element( PTSE) used for flooding the logical nodes.

ATM switches use the PTSP packets to exchange information about ATM address reachability and resources. This ensures that a connection request to the destination station is routed via the path that fulfills the required quality of service( QoS).
