PIC format (PIC)

The PIC format is a simple structured graphic file format developed by Lotus with which spreadsheets are converted into business graphics.

The Lotus PIC format can be read as an import format by almost all graphics-capable text systems and common layout programs. Also conversion programs have the possibility, provided they can read vector formats, to process the PIC format as source format or to generate from other vector formats as target format. It is also possible to generate a bitmap from the PIC format.

The PIC format is the standard format of AppleMacintosh and compatible with the Mac programs.
