PC card bus
The PC Card Bus, referred to as CardBus in newer versions, is the PCMCIA standardized interface for the PC Card.
The PC-Card bus, which is controlled by the PC-Card bus controller, is a two-row connector strip with 68 contacts, which has some similarities with the PCI bus.
The PC Card Bus has a bus width of 32 bits and a clock frequency of 33 MHz. This results in a theoretical data rate of 1,066 Mbit/s, which can be transferred from the PC card bus to the system bus via the PCI bus. The PC Card bus must share this data rate with other components.
