PAM5x5 method

The PAM5x5 coding method is a pulse amplitude modulation that works with five different levels in two planes. The levels can assume the values -2, -1, 0, +1 and +2, which means that a total of 25 different signal levels can be represented with modulation in the X and Y axes.
