Netizen

The term netizen is a neologism consisting of Internet and citizen. In German, a netizen is also referred to as a net citizen. Netizens are people who use the Internet intensively and are usually also very active in social networks. The term "netizen" is also closely associated with responsible and conscious behavior on the World Wide Web. Netizens are also used synonymously with the term cybercitizens.
