NetWare distributed management server (Novell) (NDMS)

A NetWare Distributed Management Server (NDMS) is an open management platform for administrative distributed management. It is integrated with physical device management and software distribution.

The NDMS server includes software utilization, physical and logical network analysis, inventory and storage management, user administration, and transitional management of mixed NetWare and Unix environments.

NDMS thus differs from previous approaches in which the control of users and services and the networks available for them are controlled and monitored completely separately.

NDMS integrates the management of the logical and physical network.
