NetWare Internet access server (NIAS)

The NetWareInternet AccessServer (NIAS) is a multiprotocol router with wide area connectivity and IPX/ IP gateway functionality. The NIAS concept was developed by Novell and dates back to the 1980s. At that time, it was a concept with which one could network personal computers that were based on Intel's x86 processors.
