NetView/6000

NetView/6000 is a network management system for controlling SNMP devices and monitoring TCP/ IP devices.

NetView/6000 provides configuration management, fault management and performance management. It also provides management data storage and menu-driven application development. An interface for automatic flow control and a bidirectional connection to NetView on the /370 and /390 systems to enable centralized management of SNA and TCP/IP are additional features of NetView/6000. NetView/6000 can be used alone as the basis of decentralized network management or in conjunction with the host NetView for centralized network control.
