LIN description file (LDF)

The LIN Description File (LDF) describes all signals, data packets and their time sequence on a LIN bus. If several different LIN slaves are connected to a LIN bus, then all signals and frames are described in the LIN Description File. In the identifier field of the LIN data frame, the respective station can recognize whether the frame is intended for it.
