Karn's algorithm

Karn's algorithm is an algorithm that allows transport protocols such as the TCP protocol to distinguish between good and bad round trip times. A round trip time ( RTT) is the time it takes a data packet to get from one data station to another and back again. In this way, estimating the traffic situation is made much easier and the round trip time is shortened.
