Java Card

Java Card is a secure smart card operating system with which Java programs can be installed, managed and executed on smart cards. Other devices that have to make do with comparatively little memory and CPU power also belong to the target group of Java Card, which supports several applications. On smart cards with Java Card, additional application programs can also be added at the end user. Java Card has only a limited range of functions, limited to the most important basic functions.
