Internet storage name service protocol (iSNS)

The Internet Storage NameService (iSNS) is used in IP storage by various storage standards based on the IP protocol, such as the Internet Small Computer System Interface over IP (iSCSI). The iSNS protocol centralizes the various configurations of iSCSI devices and storage area network

(SAN) devices in an IP storage network.Thanks to the centralization of all storage devices, the administrator can manage the entire storage network through the ISNS server.
