InfiniBand trade association (IBTA)

The InfiniBand Trade Association (IBTA) is a consortium of companies that maintains and promotes the InfiniBand specifications.

Founded in 1999, the consortium includes well-known companies for storage area networks( SAN) and networks. IBTA is led by a steering committee that includes Cisco, IBM, Intel, QLogic, Sun Microsystems and Mellanox.

IBTA promotes IniniBand technology through PR activities, marketing and online representation, and organizes congresses and workshops for this purpose.
