IP for smart objects (IoT) (IPSO)

IP for Smart Objects(IPSO) was developed by the IPSO Alliance for Low Power and Lossy Networks( LLN). It is an IP-based protocol for Smart Object Networks that uses object specifications from Lightweight M2M( LWM2M). The first object descriptions were related to sensors and actuators, future ones to other smart objects that will spawn future applications. The IPSO concept targets Internet of Things( IoT).

IPSO takes advantage of the many different applications of IP protocols and provides a flexible, scalable and secure communication platform.
