Specifications of 802.16a

The transmission does not require line-of-sight (NLOS) and supports fixed and mobile applications. The range is 50 km and the data rate is 75 Mbit/s with a channel width of 20 MHz. The bandwidth of the radio channels can be between 1.25 MHz and 20 MHz and include 16 sub-channels. Furthermore, 802.16a specifies the runtimes and the quality of service (QoS).
