IEEE 100GBase-CR4

There are several 100GbE interfaces that operate at 4 x 25 Gbit/s. These interfaces belong to the 100GbE interfaces of the second generation. So is the 100GBase CR4.

100GbE interfaces

This is a specification of the 802.3baworking group in which 100 Gigabit Ethernet is transmitted over short distances via twinaxial cables. The bridgeable distance is about 5 m. 100GBase-CR4 uses the QSFP module as the module.
