IEC quality assessment system for electronic components (IECQ)

IECQ was formed in 2003 from a merger of ECQ and CECC. The institution is concerned with the independent certification of electrical and electronic devices and components that meet the requirements for hazardous substances. IECQ certification proves that electronic components, their materials and manufacturing processes meet the relevant standards or the specifications that accompany them. IECQ certification may be designated as either IECQ-CECC or CECC certification.
